AIA Colorado North Presents Architecture, Art and Appetizers

All members and the public are invited to attend AIA Colorado North’s exciting and educational Architecture, Art and Appetizers, on Tuesday, April 15, from 6 - 8 p.m. on the campus of the University of Colorado (Boulder) in the Environmental Design Building, room 134.

Each speaker is allotted 10 minutes and 10 slides to present on a topic. Speakers and presentations include:

• Traditional Art: Non-traditional Architecture: Dan Kohl, Denver Art Museum
• Therapeutic Garden Design: Bruce Hendee, BHA Design
• Structural Glass in Colorado: Chris O’Hara, PE, Studio NYL
• Go for Platinum: Reimage, Redesign and Create Truly Sustainable Designs: Sue McFaddin, LEED-AP, Seven Generations
• What’s the Big Idea? Getting Satisfaction from Your Work: Mike Wisneski, AIA, Gensler
Boulder’s Transit Village Area Plan: Louise Grauer, City of Boulder
• Ground Penetrating Radar: Brian Tinkey, Martin/Martin, Inc.
• Exciting Interior Designs: Mary Wilson, Nielson-Wilson Design

• Starting an Architecture Firm – Keeping Your Wife, Your Sanity and Your House: Sean O’Hara, AIA, EV Studio
• Architecture in Rwanda: Carl Worthington, AIA, OZ Architecture of Boulder

Refreshments will be provided, and the event is free and open to the public.
